Foolish Things Christians Believe: My Past Is Not Fatal day 2
Living Under Tyranny
The tyranny of sin blinds people to label the good news of free forgiveness as foolish thinking. Life has to be transactional, calculated, and the guilty must be charged… and the hole I’ve dug can’t be escaped.
or
If I owe anything I’ll work it out… given time.
or
eventually time will just erase it all and what I owe won’t matter, there’s a cosmic statute of limitations.
The tyranny of sin lies saying, “There is no hope of receiving forgiveness.” It sneers at any voice requesting forgiveness as foolishness.
Are you understanding the weight of life without a Savior? Hear this - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)
Hope! Not as a transaction, but as an act of God! Bring on the new!
