Teach Me to Pray for Thine is the Kingdom Day 2
Praying with Another’s Words
All Glorious and Powerful Father,
Thank you for the gift of prayer. I know I always can come to you and be heard. I love our time together. And even when I can’t pray or don’t know what to say your Spirit carriers my heart to your loving ear. Help me to pray more and more; I want to have a life and attitude of constant prayer. Praying to you gives me forgiveness, joy, hope and reassurance.
I seek after you with humility and trust. Even if you know what I will say before I pray it, you have asked me to come to you in prayer and I do so with an open heart and mind. I want to take time to listen to you when I pray. Give me quiet times for meditation and scripture study.
Keep me faithful through your grace until I can see and speak with you face to face!
Joining your angels, I say: “Amen! Praise and Glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever Amen!” Revelation 7:12
