What is DISCOVER Trinity?

What does it really mean to be part of a church? Is it like joining a club or a social organization or is there more to it?

Discover Trinity is a time to learn about what it means to be part of our community. We cover topics like our theology and what we believe, our mission and purpose, and what it means to be a member.

During our time together, we will have a chance to share stories, ask questions, and learn with others who are also on the same journey. Taking part in DISCOVER does not obligate you to become a member. It is just one way that you can learn more about what it means to be a part of this community. 

Conversation is open and informal. So if you're looking for a church home or are still exploring, we invite you to join us.

Format for DISCOVER

We will be hosting these sessions in person. There are four parts. Each will tackle a different subject as it relates to being part of our community. Here are the sessions.

• DISCOVER Faith (March, July, Nov): we talk about our beliefs and theology
• DISCOVER Freedom (April, Aug, Dec): we talk about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and how that shapes our everyday lives
• DISCOVER Community (Jan, May, Sept): we talk about being a part of Trinity, covering our mission, vision, values, and what membership here is all about
• DISCOVER Purpose (Feb, June, Oct): we talk about our gifts and callings, and see how being a part of a church can equip and empower us to live lives of service and mission

Who Should Register?

Adults and teens ages 12+ years interested in joining the church can join in. People who are already members are welcome as well, to refresh their understandings of what Trinity Church is all about and help welcome and get to know those who are exploring Trinity. At least one parent should attend with their youth. Register each household individual who will be attending. (We need the count for lunch, which will be ordered in!)
