Holy Week Worship Schedule
Join us on a journey as we retrace Jesus's steps, beginning with his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, his trial and execution, and finally, the empty tomb and his Resurrection on Easter. Throughout the week, we offer special services designed to help us immerse ourselves in the story and gain a fresh perspective on these significant events.

All Have Sinned and Fall Short

May 9, 2021 Speaker: Series: Messy Grace

When it comes to issues of sexuality, especially when engaging the LGBTQ+ community, the first question everyone wants answered is, “do you think it’s a sin?” Is it a sin to be gay? Is sex before marriage sinful? How about living together before marriage? What about remarriage after divorce?

The problem with letting these questions become the first question is this: If being a Christian is all about obeying the rules, then these MUST be the first question we ask. But… that’s not the heart of Christianity. The heart of Christianity is that ALL have sinned and fallen short of God’s standard for our lives – including when it comes to our sexuality. But God has done something about that. He has justified us freely as a gift! We are all capable of receiving the unconditional love and grace of God.
