Holy Week Worship Schedule
Join us on a journey as we retrace Jesus's steps, beginning with his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, his trial and execution, and finally, the empty tomb and his Resurrection on Easter. Throughout the week, we offer special services designed to help us immerse ourselves in the story and gain a fresh perspective on these significant events.

The Calendar App

July 23, 2017 Speaker: Mark Schulz Series: Apps4Life

Topic: Life Application Passage: Ephesians 2:10–2:10, Ephesians 5:15–5:16

The calendar fills up so fast. There is always so much to do, so many demands on our time. The pace of life can be exhausting. Take out your calendar and look at the next couple weeks. How does it make you feel? Depressed? Tired before you even start? If so, you are not alone!

The biggest problem with a full calendar may not be the exhaustion we feel or the lack of sleep we get. It may be that we are missing “God appointments” – opportunities God has given us to make a difference in the world around us and in the lives of people he sends our way. A full calendar with no margin means no time to listen to a friend who needs to vent. No time to sit on the floor and play with our kids when they ask, “can you play with me, mommy?” No time to sit in silence and hear from God.
