Holy Week Worship Schedule
Join us on a journey as we retrace Jesus's steps, beginning with his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, his trial and execution, and finally, the empty tomb and his Resurrection on Easter. Throughout the week, we offer special services designed to help us immerse ourselves in the story and gain a fresh perspective on these significant events.

Anxiety

May 10, 2020 Speaker: Series: Peace

Passage: Philippians 4:4–4:9

Central to the experience of anxiety are worries that can turn into fear - sometimes real, sometimes imagined or exaggerated. In most cases, the sources of worry are related to things out of a person’s control, and this lack of control only heightens the fear response.

For the Christian, living with uncertainty and lack of control is a key part of a life of faith. God can use the worries and fears of this life as opportunities for us to be reminded He is in control, and that he can and will be faithful. In short, anxiety can be used by God to help us develop a total dependence on him.
