Officially the United States does not formally recognize dual citizenship (being a citizen of the United States while at the same time holding citizenship in another country). But at the same time it has taken no action against dual citizenship, either legally or politically.

Christians, however, realize that we are indeed dual citizens. We are citizens of the United States, and have the responsibility to be the best citizens we can be, while at the same time our citizenship is in heaven!
