Holy Week Worship Schedule
Join us on a journey as we retrace Jesus's steps, beginning with his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, his trial and execution, and finally, the empty tomb and his Resurrection on Easter. Throughout the week, we offer special services designed to help us immerse ourselves in the story and gain a fresh perspective on these significant events.

Worship - TKW

December 31, 2017 Speaker: Dennis Franzen

Topic: Christmas Scripture: Luke 2:8–20, Matthew 2:1–12, Philippians 2:7b–11

The long-needed, long-awaited Messiah is here (and is coming again!)  Shepherds can’t wait to seek out Jesus to see the promised answer for themselves.  Wise men invest time and fortune to seek for this new King.  And the response they have in finding Jesus is worship – both an attitude of worship – a “fall on your face” before him in joyful praise; and the action of worship – giving him the treasure of our lives, telling everyone about Him and obeying him.  Jesus is who God said he was – the needed Savior, the hoped-for Messiah, the new-born King. And the joyful respond in worship.

This Advent, we too have watched, prepared, rejoiced, and beheld the birth of the Savior. Now it is time (a new year) for worship.   What is our response?  Does our attitude and action of worship reflect who he said he was?
