The Word of God is to be the center of our lives. We are to store his words in our hearts and souls. It is to guide our thoughts, emotions, and actions. A Christian worldview is informed and shaped by God and His Word. God’s Word is the foundation of the Christian life. It is from and upon that foundation that we raise our children as parents and as a congregation. Central to any ministry of children and families is a core knowledge of, and love for God and His Word. Everything a family does is to be centered on and in the Word of God. It is God and his Word that enlightens and empowers his disciples. As adult believers in Jesus we strive to model and teach our children the life of Christ in our homes, our churches, our neighborhoods, and throughout the world. So, we raise and equip our children to be disciples of Jesus and to understand that to be a disciple is to be one who shares in the call to pass on the faith to the next generation.
