Theme Verse: Isaiah 58:10 ESV – “If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.

This theme verse from Isaiah is the basis for this year’s Advent Conspiracy project! Partnering with a number of other congregations, and with Lutheran World Relief, we will be used by God to lift a whole region of southern Kenya out of poverty for this generation, and for many generations to come! As amazing as this work in Kenya will be, it is only a glimpse of the Kingdom of God that came first through the Messiah, comes now through us, and will come fully and completely when Jesus comes again!

Throughout all of the book of Isaiah we find prophecies of the coming Messianic Age. The fulfillment of these prophecies can be found in the coming of Jesus that first Christmas, in the life of His people today, and when He comes again.
