Trinity Kimberly Way Update

Like the rest of you, we are learning how to do church in a new way. Moving to online worship was a big challenge, but it was a real joy to work alongside the other sites to put together worship experiences that not only reflected our diversity, but also celebrated our unity as a church.
In addition, we have worked hard to help people stay connected through things like virtual small groups, online leader trainings, and using social media and YouTube to keep everyone updated and informed. Though we are separated by distance, we are thankful for how technology has enabled us to continue to pursue our mission as a site.
We've also been doing a lot to prepare for the coming school year for our Preschool. Our new director, Ingrid, has done an amazing job working hard to set up enrollment and registrations for the coming year and we are excited to announce that we will have classes available for BOTH 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds this coming Fall. Right now we have a 3 day option for the 3s and 3, 4, and 5 day options for the 4s. One way we could use YOUR help is by getting the word out. If you or someone you know has a child that you would like to enroll in our preschool please contact Ingrid directly at ingrid.johnson@tlc4u.org
Another thing that we are looking forward to, as a site, is our Read Scripture Together challenge. Starting on April 20th, we have embarked on a journey of reading through the entire narrative arc of the Bible from now until next Easter. To help with this we are using the Read Scripture app and reading plan from the Bible Project. This plan arranges the books of the Bible in a way that helps you understand the bigger story and includes videos throughout to orient readers to the historical, cultural, and literary context of the Bible. Furthermore, we are encouraging our members to invite others to be a part of this challenge with us. As we move through the Bible, we will also host live online Q&A sessions to answer the questions that people have as we read Scripture together. The goal is to grow deeper in our relationships with God as we encounter Him through His Word. To learn more about this challenge and to join in visit www.tlc4u.org/readscripture
