The Bible makes an amazing claim about itself – that it is not just the words of men but that the men who wrote it “spoke from God as they were carried by the Holy Spirit.” This means the Bible is “completely reliable” and that “all Scripture is breathed out by God and is useful.” We summarize these concepts by saying the Bible, as the Word of God, is without error or “inerrant.”

So what do we do, as Christians, when it seems the Bible contradicts itself?
