First and foremost, when it comes to our sexual identity, is the need to understand that our sexual identity is NOT really at the core of who we are. The world teaches that things like gender and sexual orientation are so fundamental to our identity that they BECOME our identity in and of themselves. “I’m gay” or “I’m straight” become life-defining statements. But God has a much bigger plan for you and for me.
