Notice: Children and youth ministries are meeting in person at Trinity Galewood but everyone is asked to wear a mask.
If you have questions or would like to know more about the outreach to kids and families at Trinity, email Ebony, Trinity Galewood's Children & Youth Director.
Here's what's happening now:
KidStreet meets in person during worship every Sunday for toddlers through grades 4/5. Join us for worship every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Then, the children will be released to their leader for KidStreet partway into our time of worship. From little on, we provide ways to help your child learn to look, live and love like Jesus.
Teens from grades 6 to 12 meet every Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the school annex to our church (entrance is on Waubansia). Bring your mask and your desire to make deeper friends, and bring someone from your school or neighborhood along. This summer, a major project to refresh the entire youth area has been in the planning and getting underway. Come see what's new.
We were excited to offer KidStreet Camp for one week this August with parent gatherings while the children met in age-appropriate groups. A light supper after work preceded camp sessions each night with a campfire on the front lawn of the church the closing night. It was an awesome event and so good to be reaching into the neighborhood again after the slowdown in our ministries due to COVID restrictions.
Come Back Sunday on September 12
Bring the whole family to Trinity Galewood's annual Come Back Sunday. It all starts at worship that Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Planning is still underway, so check back here soon.
If your family is not yet comfortable attending Trinity Galewood's worship in person, you can participate in Trinity's worship online every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. In case you miss it, you can catch the replay of online services on YouTube. Trinity's online worship rotates the site pastors and worship teams from all four of its locations, Trinity Kimberly Way and Trinity Green Trails, both in Lisle, Trinity South Naperville, as well as our Trinity Galewood site on the west side of Chicago.
