At Trinity, we enjoy giving, and we endeavor to give as God has called and enabled us. For us, giving is an act of worship and is meant to be done deliberately and cheerfully, in a predetermined, guilt-free manner as described in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7.
We use a concept called the Generosity Ladder to help us grow in generosity. This encourages us to grow, as the Holy Spirit enables us, from wherever we are in our current giving habits (even if we are NOT giving) to the next step in generosity.
As a part of our church family, when you decide to give, there are 4 main ways to share the financial resources God has entrusted to you:
1) Predetermine an amount of cash or an amount by check and place it in the offering basket as it is passed to you during the Gathering. If you use an offering envelope provided at the Site Host's Table, Trinity's Business Manager will be able to return an account of your gift to you at year's end.
2) Use our online giving vendor, Stripe, to draw a predetermined amount from your checking account on a regular basis (e.g. weekly or by pay period). This service will automatically allow Trinity's Business Manager to return an account of your gift to you at year's end. Click here to access Stripe or visit our website at www.tlc4u.org and click "GIVE".
3) Text the amount you want to give to 84321 and follow the instructions.
4) Download and install the Church Center App on your phone, register with your email address or phone number, and click "Give" at the bottom of the home screen.
If you want to program your bank's website to send a check for a predetermined amount on a regular basis (e.g. weekly or monthly), have your bank make out the check to "Trinity" and send it to the attention of our Finance Team at 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle, IL 60532. Because your name will be on the bank's check, Trinity's Business Manager will be able to return an account of your gift to you at year's end. At Trinity, we also consider this online giving.
As always, if you have any questions about giving and how you can grow in generosity, as a part of your lifestyle of worship, please reach out to Pastor Mike.
